Mi chiamo Adriano Mascherin, sono nato nel 1951, vivo e lavoro a Fiume Veneto. Sono entrato nel mondo della fotografia negli anni 70 alla chetichella con pochi mezzi a disposizione, fotografando di tutto, spinto dalla curiosità dell’esplorazione del ambiente naturale e progressivamente nel mondo del piccolo. All’inizio l’emozione nello scoprire l’universo macro mi ha fatto trascurare la parte tecnica. Successivamente il confronto con altri fotoamatori, con la partecipazione a circoli fotografici e forum nel web mi ha permesso di migliorare anche la tecnica. Un grande cambiamento si è realizzato con l’avvento del digitale che ha permesso di fare interventi sulle immagini un tempo impensabili o realizzabili con un grosso impegno sia in ripresa che in camera oscura.
Sono sempre stato attratto dalle meraviglie dell’ambiente naturale, dai grandi spazi, dai panorami dalle cime della montagne, dai dettagli (tra l’altro sono un’escursionista), ma con il tempo ho visto gli enormi spazi e forme celati dal limite dei nostri occhi nel micro mondo così vicino e poco conosciuto. Dopo un’iniziale esplorazione del mondo naturale la ricerca di immagini sempre più affrancate dai vincoli di un soggetto immediatamente riconoscibile mi ha portato a formare ed a dar vita a ciò che poi ho fotografato. Sono nati cosi quelli che definisco gli “Universi Minimi” che prima vengono formati mescolando acqua, tempere, olio, sapone e altri materiali e poi mentre queste “miscele” si muovono, diluiscono e trasformano le fisso nelle fotografie che potete vedere in questo sito. E’ affascinante osservare e riprendere queste forme effimere, paesaggi irreali, sinuosità, delicati orizzonti prospettici in un moto continuo e silenzioso ricco di suggestione. Negli “universi Minimi” ogni scatto è irripetibile, perché è non è possibile formare allo stesso modo l’evento che è generato dal caos delle combinazioni unite alle diversità dell’illuminazione e degli sfondi utilizzati, cosicché ogni scatto è unico.
Ho continuato a raccogliere emozioni nei vari ambienti e nei primi anni del 2000 ho iniziato a realizzare e organizzare i miei lavori in multivisioni che poi ho presentato e tutt’ora presento nelle varie associazioni con lusinghiero successo. Nel 2016 ho pubblicato il mio primo libro UNIVERSI MINIMI sul tema dei Micromondi colorati.

My name is Adriano Mascherin, I was born in 1951, I live and work in Fiume Veneto (PN). I quietly entered the world of photography in the 70s with few available resources,, making photographs of everything that caught my attention, driven by curiosity to explore the natural environment and progressively to discover our small world . At first the excitement of discovering the macro universe made me neglect the technical part. Then the comparison with other photo enthusiasts, and by attending clubs and photography forums on the web allowed me to improve my technique. A great change took place with the advent of digital technology that allowed me to capture images once unthinkable or achievable only by a great commitment both while shooting and in the darkroom.
I have always been attracted by the wonders of the natural environment, by large spaces, by panoramas seen from the top of mountains peaks, from details (among others by the way I am a hiker), but in time I saw huge spaces and forms hidden by our eyes limitations in the micro world so close to us and yet so unknown. After an initial exploration of images and objects of the natural world, that are easily recognizable, I was brought to form and give life to what I then photographed. This gave birth to what I define as the “Minimum Universes” which are formed by first mixing water, tempera, oil, soap and other materials and then while these “mixtures” are moving, diluting and transforming , I capture them in the photographs that you see on this site. It is fascinating to watch and reproduce these forms of ephemeral, unreal landscapes, sinuous, delicate prospective horizons in continuous motion and full of silent charm. In these minimum universes” every shot is unique, because it is impossible to recreate them the same way. The event which is generated by the chaos of the combinations along with the diversity of lighting and backgrounds, so every shot is unique.
I continued to collect emotions in the various environments and in the early 2000s I started to create and organize my works in multi-media presentation which I then showed and still show in the various associations with flattering success. In 2016 I published my first book UNIVERSI MINIMI on the theme of colored Microworlds.
