Forse mi ripeto ma, tante scoperte hanno preso spunto dalla natura. Anche per il volo l’uomo ha avuto lo spunto guardando il dettaglio di una piuma che gli ha fatto nascere l’idea. La piuma ha una struttura leggerissima ma resistente, dalla nervatura centrale si diramano , inclinate, altre nervature più piccole a passo costante e su queste una serie di finissimi peli si intrecciano su ambo i lati, un vera opera di ingegneria naturale. Ma non finisce qui ogni piuma ha la sua identità, il suo colore e la sua funzione e messe insieme ad altre forma l’ala dei volatili che leggeri si librano nei cieli.
